Marvel Reviews - Captain America Movies

So...late last year i watched my first Marvel movie, "Captain America, The First Avenger" and was hooked! Before that i had never watched super hero movies but Captain America sounded pretty cool and i really enjoyed watching it. They (Marvel) are the kind of movies that you cant just watch one of so since then i've watched plenty more! My next few posts will just be rambling review sorta things about the Marvel movies i have watched. Enjoy!

P.S. I am trying not to give any spoilers so they may seem really boring but watch these movies and you will love them!

Captain America The First Avenger

I really loved this, especially because of the WWII setting. I really like watching  war movies because the seem so real and i now like superhero movies and this was a nice mixture. It had a cool story line and i don't want to give anything away, so i'll just say it was a great movie!

Captain America The Winter Soldier

Agh, I love this movie so much!! It is really interesting seeing Cap adjust to life 70 years later (he is technically 95 but seems 30!!) There is a great plot tying up the story from the first movie and it introduces some cool new characters.

Captain America Civil War

Again, a great movie! So for this i can probably tell a bit about the story without giving away too much:
Basically the Winter Soldier is a wanted man and Ironman realises that he needs to be held back because his actions are turning the UN against the Avengers.Of course though, Cap stands by his friend and wants to save Bucky. There is someone/something behind all the chaos but if you want to find out more, go watch the movie! I really liked how the film-makers managed to bring in lots of characters but not make it to crazy and still have the feeling of a Captain America movie, not an Avengers movie.

Spiderman was great!!

Thankyou for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it!
Next up, The Amazing Spider 1 and 2!

A Movie Review of Cinderella!

hmm, i haven't posted something proper for a while so this had better be good!
let us begin.

'once upon a time...'

'don't you think she needs a more substantial shawl?'
So. The story line follows the usual 'Cinderella' story. Father marries mean lady with mean daughters. Father ------. Ella becomes a servant. Goes to ball. Falls in love with prince. Leaves at midnight. Loses her slipper. Prince finds her. They live happily Ever After.(that movie's cool too)
But of course it is far more interesting than that...

Cinderella (Lily James) was perfectly pretty and sweet and magic-bluebirds-y nice as she is meant to be. Kind and caring, slightly scared of her stepmother, but keeping to the vow she had made to her mother. 'Be Kind, and have Courage."  Her blue dress was very pretty, and the dress she wore as a little girl was nice too.

Ella and her Mother. Their dresses are very pretty!

Cinderella.

Drizella, the stepmother, and Anastasia.

The stepmother was very mean but i think i prefer her to the baroness in 'ever after'.
Drizella and Anastasia were silly,as they should be and always wear matching dresses with D in yellow and A in pink.

The Prince is first seen when the two cross paths in the woods. Cinderella convinces him to stop hunting for sport which they have no need of.  'Kit' is puzzled by this but hopes they will meet again.
On first impressions he's kind of cheesy. Someone described him as a frog. But you get used to him.

What i love is that the moviemakers obviously tried hard to capture the magical sweetness and prettiness of "Cinderella". Another i found funny but nice, is the little blue birds...sadly i couldn't find any pictures of them, but they were just like the little birds in the fairy-tale story.

The King...poor guy doesn't look to happy. I think he was perfect for the king. Really nice, with
'Obi-wan Kenobi' hair.

Yes. He was great.

Now of course i don't want to give lots of things away, i mean, i couldn't just spoil this fabulous movie for everyone else! I won't say any more but i will post some pretty photos!

You Shall go to the Ball!!!

Movie Reviw - Bridge to Terebithia

Hello Everyone! (or however many people actually look at my blog)

anyway.
 I watched Bridge to Terebithia!

i read the book quite a while ago and was really excited to watch the movie!

The movie stars my favorite actress of all time...Anna-Sophia Robb as Leslie Burke and, wait for it....
the one and only, Josh Hutcherson as Jesse Aarons!

just a quickie ( anna-sophia robb was one of the actors considered to act Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games and of course josh hutcherson is Peeta Mellark)

 huhum!
moving on...

Leslie Burke moves into the house next door to Jess Aarons'.
They both have no friends, and are both bullied by the other kids their age.So it makes sense for them to become friends.Together they make up the world of Terebithia...

Jess even invites Leslie to church, though they have interesting ideas about the bible!

                                       Jesse, sister Maybelle and Leslie

The movie is really interesting and looks into normal family life

Jesse's mum, dad and baby Joyce Ann.

Older sisters Ellie and Brenda

The school bullies...

Janice Avery
and
Scott Hoager

Eventually Leslie befriends Janice.

And they are all happy and THEN...
i won't spoil it!

If you have the chance, do watch this movie!

God Bless!
