Cool Ear-phone Bracelet Tutorial

Hello!!!  I hope some of you enjoyed my last post with the String Art Board tutorial and today I have a tutorial for a really cool recycled ear-phone bracelet. I have used mostly pictures and some of them are not to clear but I hope you are able to see and understand them. Enjoy!

What you will need:

A pair of old/broken earphones.
Scissors.
A pen or pencil.

If your ear-phones have a small joining piece like this carefully cut it off. Also cut of the ear-phone heads and the plug.

Then pull the two strings apart.

Making sure the strings are even, slip knot them onto the pen.

STEP 1.
Then take the left outside string and put it between the two right-side strings.

Then take the outside right string and put it behind the two middle strings and in front of the outside left string.

Then pull the two outside strings tight.

STEP 2.
Now take the right outside string and put it in front of the other strings, to the left.

Now take the outside left string and loop it behind the two middle strings and through the loop made by the right string.

Pull tight and you should have a stitch shaped like a side-ways V, like the picture below.

STEP 3.
The next stitch is the same as Step 2., only on the left side.

Take the outside left string and place it over the other strings.
Then take the outside right string and loop it through the left string, behind the middle strings and out of the loop made by the left string.
I hope that makes some sense!

Then repeat Step 2. to complete the stitch.

Repeat Steps 2. and 3. until the bracelet is around an inch too short for your wrist.

You will notice that the outside strings are a LOT shorter than the middle strings. Knot the outside strings together as tight as you can, then cut short enough to be able to untie when you want.

Take the bracelet off the pen.
Untwist and flatten the two loops.

Cut the middle strings. Leave enough length of string to double knot to the loops.

I hope you liked this tutorial and were able to understand it!

Vanity Fair - Issue 1. October

Hello! and welcome to the first issue/post of  vanity fair! i hope all who view this find it interesting and to their liking! I don't have many today (just three!) but with your contributions in the future issue we wont need to worry about that! Please send new ideas if you have any! Enjoy!

THE HEADLINES TODAY:

No.1. Anakin and Padme     Movie: STAR WARS Ep.2  Contributor: Me!

Padme's dress is exquisite! It's the nicest one she ever wears! Anakin's clothes are so,so. Slightly fancier then a normal Jedi. What I really love is Padme's hair. She really suits curls! The hairnets are pretty!

In this pic you can better see her hair. She has a lace flowered headband round her forehead and a pink ribbon holds her hair back. The hairnets are really pretty. What i love about her dress is that it's gold with pink flowers and embroidery on it and i think it looks really nice together!

No.2
Emily Blakeney Submitted:

Cosette Pontmercy's Wedding Outfit -  Movie: Les Mis 2012  Contributor: Emily Blakeney!

I love the overall style of all Cosette's clothes! The wedding dress is probably my favourite of all her dresses. It's pink, but a light pink, so not too far from the traditional white. I just love the puffed sleeves and all the lace! The sleeves have laces over part of them, and she has a lace piece over the bodice. (As you can see in the picture, the lace comes out underneath the sash.)

You can see in this picture that her earrings have white pearls/beads, then browny coloured beads underneath. Her hair is tied in a ribbon with small flowers on top, and a few larger ones at the back.
Overall, I really love this wedding outfit - I wouldn't mind having it for mine!

Thanks Emily for this great contribution!(i say that word too much!)

No.3. Anne Shirley Movie:Anne of Green Gables. Contributor: Me!
Anne's clothes are all quite pretty, but this one exceeds them all! I love the whole puffy/flare look. The violet sash sooo pretty against the white dress! I like how on her right hand she wears a bangle over her glove, it looks pretty. The color in this pic isn't great but makes stand out better then other pics i saw.(the flowers in the background are pretty!)

You can see here that her pearl necklace from Matthew is three strands twisted together, and i think it looks nicer than one strand. She also has tiny pearl earrings.I love her hair! i mean, it's not super fancy, but it just look's so pretty!

I hope all you who read this enjoy it and please send any ideas that you have!

Next month...."November competition! THEME: Red girl/boy outfit.

vanity fair idea...?

So this might be a dumb idea or it could be a cool one....
Iv'e made up this monthly post/thing called Vanity Fair....(am i bad with words or something?)....

I will also do competitions where you enter ones you like and i will pick the three best and publish them. I hope you lovely people out there find this interesting and pleas comment with any cool new ideas for Vanity Fair! (the first issue will be posted asap!)

Dream Cast - Characters Who Didn't Make It

It's really annoying how movie-makers leave out some important characters, so my sisters and I are casting our own!

In the Anne of Green Gables movies, Davy and Dora Keith are left out. They are the twins Marilla adopts after Anne leaves home

No.1. Davy Keith.
For Davy, Jake Lloyd with curly hair is perfect.Jake Lloyd is little Anakin from STAR WARS.

No.2. Dora. Keith.
For Dora, Isabelle Allen. They are both small and sweet! Isabelle Allen is little Cosette in Les Mis.

In Les Mis 2012 they leave out Azelma Thenardier and Monsieur Mabeuf.

No.3. Azelma Thenardier.

Willow Shields. She is Prim in The Hunger Games. She's small and sharp. Perfect for Azelma.

No.4. Mabeuf.

Alec Guinness. No longer alive, but this is a dream cast! He acts as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars 4.

In the movie of Swiss Family Robinson, Jack Robinson is not included. He was my favorite!

No.5. Jack Robinson.
Skandar Keynes. I guess. Couldn't find anyone else.

In Little Woman 1994 Mr. Davis, Amy's teacher doesn't come up.It isn't really important, but...

No.6. Mr.Davis.
Eric House. Mr.Philips the teacher in Anne of Green Gables.

So there weren't many, and it was a bit boring, but i hope you enjoyed?

So long!

The STAR WARS Saga.......XD

So. I finally have watched the first four Star Wars movies. They are amazingly cool! People have  always said " you haven't watched star wars?" and mum been like, "oh, yeah we should watch them some time.And. Finally we found out that a good friend from church, Kaity King, owned the movies and allowed us to borrow them! Now i don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, so i'll just talk about the characters.Movies 4,5 and 6 were made before the others (1,2,3 are a prequel) so i would suggest watching them first, cos the first three kind of ruin it!

The Characters.(from all movies)

Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.

( Liam Neeson!)
This guy is cool! And i love his green light sabre! it's hard though to imagine jean valjean with long hair!
He is one of the lead characters in this movie. He is working with his padawan ( jedi apprentice)
Obi-Wan Kinobi, to save the planet/country of Naboo, ruled by queen Padme Amidala.

Obi-Wan Kinobi

Queen Padme Amadala

The thing about Padme is that her handmaidens, Rabe and Sabe, act as decoys, so, when Qui-Gon lands on the remote, gangster ruled planet of Tatooine, the real queen Padme goes with Qui-Gon, disguised as one of her handmaidens.

Anakin Skywalker.

Anakin is a little slave boy that they meet in Tatooine. Qui-Gon believes that the Force is strong with him and takes him along to train as a Jedi.Usually, Jedi get trained from birth, before they can experiance fear and anger.

Shmi Skywalker.

Anakin's mother. Qui-Gon won Anakin in a bet, but was unable to free Shmi from slavery. Shmi dies in the second movie, Attack of the Clones.

                                            R2-D2 and C-3P0

R2-D2 is a droid who saved Padme's life.He was then allowed to travel with her and the two Jedi.
C-3P0 is a Standered Cybot Galactica protocol droid. These droids are made to be translaters between humans and other space life. Anakin made C-3P0 to help his mother. When Anakin left to train as a Jedi, C-3P0 stayed behind.

Lott Dod                                             Rune Haako                           Nute Gunray

These weedlesome  three are working for a dark lord, Darth Sidious, and trying to take over Naboo and kill Padme.

Darth Sidious.(the phantom menace!)

The evil one behind everything! but i dont want to give it all away!

Jar Jar Binks.

Jar Jar is a Gungan who is on exile from his home city Otah Gunga, in a swamp in Naboo.
Qui-Gon runs into and saves him.

Darth Maul.

Working for Darth Sidious, he tries to kill the Jedi a few times. Sadly, he manages to defeat Qui-Gon, but is quickly defeated by Obi-Wan.

Boss Nass.

The ruler of the Gungans. Padme pleads for him to ally them in the battle with the droids.

Yoda.

The oldest Jedi master and kind of the "leader".
He speaks like this: "when 100 years old you reach, look as good you will not."                           he's really funny.

Mace Windu.

A Jedi Master. He is one of my favorites.

Padme and Anikan.

"Mawwidge. Mawwidge is wot bwings us togedda touday."  so sweet.

Obi-Wan Kenobi.(later on)

I like him better in the 2nd and 3rd movies.

Anikan. (later on)

Luke Skywalker.

I think i like the other Jedi better, but he's okay.

Leia Skywalker.

Leia is really cool! she's like a kind of supergirl.

Han Solo.

The guy who fly's luke to the rebel base. he's pretty cool. he likes leia. i will say no more.

Darth Vader.

THE VILLAIN. no.not really. i won't reveal.

SO. if you haven't watched them. watch them. YOU WILL watch them.YOU WILL enjoy them.
